PartnerMD is pleased to welcome Dr. Mandana Shafai as a concierge doctor in the McLean, VA office. Dr. Shafai is an internal medicine doctor with more than 20 years of experience combining functional, integrative, and traditional primary care to care for her patients.
“I’m really happy to call PartnerMD home,” Dr. Shafai says. “Our philosophies on care are the same. I get to concentrate on providing the best care possible for all my patients, and that takes time. It takes time to get to know them and understand their family, their environment, and their lifestyle. Basically, I get to practice medicine like I always wanted to coming out of medical school.”
Before joining PartnerMD, Dr. Shafai practiced at Internal Medicine of Arlington, the Advanced Health Center, Whole Women’s Health Clinic, Annandale Women & Family Center, and MedStar Hospital.
She earned her M.D. from Wright State’s School of Medicine in Ohio and completed her internal medicine residency at Georgetown University.
Dr. Shafai joins Dr. Kaleen Kitay, also an internal medicine doctor, at PartnerMD’s McLean office. As a company, PartnerMD has more than 10,000 members in seven offices throughout Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, and Georgia.
