At PartnerMD, we've grown from one doctor in 2003 to more than 30 today. We know how concierge medicine can allow you to practice how you've always wanted. If you're looking for a better environment to practice primary care, come take a look at PartnerMD.
While concierge medicine has become more affordable, it’s still an investment. People make that investment because they deem it a priority – for their health, their lifestyle, their performance, and their longevity.
At PartnerMD, we take our responsibility for that investment very seriously. It’s why we strive to provide a truly exceptional experience every day.
Concierge patients want a partner to help them prevent health issues, so they can live the life they want to live, whether that’s traveling the world, walking their daughter down the aisle, or holding their grandkids.
Our doctors help them do just that.
"In my old practice, I always had one eye on the clock, felt rushed, and was worried I might miss something."
Sound like you? Then you may benefit from having more time at PartnerMD.
As a concierge medicine physician at PartnerMD, your patients are guaranteed 30-minute appointments. You'll have plenty of time to:
As we've grown, we've learned a thing or two about what works and what doesn't when it comes to hiring concierge doctors. What doesn’t work is fairly straightforward – if you’re looking to make a boatload more money as a concierge doc or work far fewer hours, then PartnerMD is not the right fit for you.
We’re focused on using the concierge medicine model to deliver the best experience possible for our patients.
Our No. 1 priority is always going to be patient care. We’re looking for doctors committed to the same – better relationships with each patient, providing the tools they need to achieve their goals, and being there for patients when they need us.
As a doctor, this is one of the top benefits of practicing concierge medicine.
Often, we hear this expressed in some form of “I just want to practice medicine the way I envisioned when I entered medical school.”
That is not packed schedules and anonymous, overloaded panels; neither is it spending most of the time running a tight-margin business.
PartnerMD isn’t a destination for doctors looking to enjoy a few years of laidback work as they head toward retirement. That our doctors might work less is one of the myths of becoming a concierge doctor. The truth is that our doctors just work differently and in a more rewarding way.
Our candidates tend to have graduated from a U.S. medical school, completed their residency at a top program, and spent a few years practicing.
A lot of our candidates say they “already try to give patients the time concierge medicine affords.” Many share their desire to develop better relationships or express fear of missing something because they can’t slow down.
When we’re hiring concierge doctors, we think in terms of these questions:
If you’re a physician thinking about becoming a concierge doctor and read this thinking, “you know, that sounds like me,” then we’d like to get to know you.
We know you have questions about joining a concierge practice. Here’s what you can expect at PartnerMD, from your patients to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Salary
Our physician compensation is comparable to that of other salaried primary care practices in our markets. You receive salary bumps based on panel size.

As a concierge doctor, your schedule will include 6-10 patient appointments, advanced physicals, reviewing specialist charts, returning calls and emails on the same business day, and meeting with potential new members.

Each PartnerMD doctor has a dedicated nurse who coordinates scheduling and patient care.
