As a board-certified family medicine physician and concierge doctor in Short Pump, VA, Dr. Eric Haacke-Golden treats patients from age six through adulthood and provides thoughtful care to help them see the big picture of what’s needed to live a healthy life.

After graduating from The University of Minnesota Medical School, he moved to Virginia and completed his residency at Chesterfield Family Practice. Dr. Haacke-Golden has been in practice 18 years. He was a founding partner of Virginia Family Physicians, which went on to merge with Commonwealth Primary Care.

Dr. Haacke-Golden: Beyond the Exam Room

After growing up and attending school in Minnesota, Dr. Haacke-Golden moved to Richmond for residency for a pretty simple reason.

"To get out of the snow belt."

He's since lived in the Richmond area with his wife and two daughters. Time spent with his family traveling or just hanging out is by far his most important goal.

On his own time, his spirit is in the outdoors, where you will find him birdwatching, backwoods camping, and hiking on the AT. Also, if there is any loud live music in Richmond, he is probably there.
