As a board-certified family physician and concierge doctor in Sandy Springs, GA, Dr. Jennifer Tutt believes when patients have an improved understanding of their overall health, they can make more informed decisions that help them live happier, healthier lives.
For more than two decades, Dr. Tutt has focused on adult patients with a particular interest in geriatric medicine. An empathetic listener, Dr. Tutt strives to provide the level of care and attention for her patients that she would want her parents to receive.
"When I take care of patients, I think back to my late parents and how I would want them to be cared for," Dr. Tutt says. "I think about how to best help with medical conditions, yes, but also social settings and support systems because that helps me provide the best care possible."
She frequently helps patients manage diabetes, hypertension, COPD, osteoporosis, lung disease, arthritis, asthma, and more. She also has experience helping women of all ages address menopausal symptoms and explore hormonal imbalances.
She has extensive experience helping patients with multiple issues and multiple specialists organize, interpret, and optimize their whole health picture.
"Through education, I can help you move in the right direction," she says. "And then once we get going in the right direction, that’s when we can see a difference in terms of lowering your comorbidities and improving how you feel and the way you live."
She took an interest in primary care because of the variety of issues and concerns it allows her to help patients with. And over time, she’s gained valuable experience treating adults.
"To do the best for a patient, that requires spending the time to listen to them, so you can get the whole picture and help them take better care of themselves."

As someone who lived in the Denver area for many years, including while growing up, Dr. Tutt is a huge Denver sports fan, specifically the Broncos and the Nuggets.
At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever. She also is passionate about interior design and architecture, and she loves working around the house on a variety of home improvement projects.
"If I hadn’t gone into medicine, I probably would have done some form of home architecture and interior design," she says.
